An excellent season 2. I’m still a bit behind, but I’ve really been enjoying these FEAR videos. You’re easily one of my favorite LPers.
Also, the ending to this was hilarious. Lots of “Oh! Fuck me!” appropriately followed by some nice “Oh! I’m coming, just don’t leave me!”

Loved the Let’s Play!
I preferred FEAR 2 over FEAR personally. FEAR was fun to play, with fun mechanics but had terrible level design (in terms of bland/grey corridors/warehouses). I actually really enjoyed exploring FEAR 2 even though it’s linear. I never really understood much of the story in the franchise, but FEAR 2 made the most sense to me and I actually understood where I was going and why I was going there. From what I have seen of FEAR 3, it seems worse.
Big congrats on completeing this. Although I did laugh when you said ‘the musics all happy’ in such a scared voice. A really good vid Guude. I enojed playing (and screaming in terror at) just about all the FEAR games so I look forward to the next one
Please note the shotgun is only effective on the invisible guys if you hit them dead on. I have one shoted them before but it’s a somewhat difficult shot when you are getting hit in the face. Those floating specter things die in one hit form anything. so it doesnt matter at all what you use on them.
Regarding the framerate, it seems Logitech HIDs have an issue with this game. I had the same FPS drops from 60 -> 14 after 5-10 minutes of gameplay and I solved it by uninstalling the Logitech devices under Device Manager/Human Interface Devices. Hope this helps!
meh fear3 is consolified no leaning no jumpkicks dumb enemies etc. … damn consoles ruining our games ;P
