There’s a remix of Michael Jackson’s Jam that uses the Casino Night Zone music from Sonic 3. Suggest you give it a listen since, conspiracy theory or not, the similarity is there.
Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker was also on the Commodore 64, and many people say it was the worst version.

Used to love this game, didn’t thought much about the “MJ saving kids” until nowadays.
Back in the 16 bit it was uncommon to see celebrity who lend their names to games, (FIFA and Sensible didnt get licensed footie star until late 90′s from what I remember).
