  2. LarryBundyJr says:

@illustriouschin Lol, I might stick Jar Jar in the next revision :D

  3. LarryBundyJr says:

@DAZZYVANDAM The CD-i version is by far the best quality port, even compared to the DVD and Wii versions.

  4. LarryBundyJr says:

@xEPICD00Mx I’m using the CD-i version in the video, which uses a pad and it pauses slightly to give you a chance to hit the enemies.

  5. xEPICD00Mx says:

My Grandad, a westen movie fan, got the Wii collection one it’s definitly is easier with the Wii remote but still is hard. lol

  6. DAZZYVANDAM says:

@LarryBundyJr Well to my suprise larry the quality of the pc version is even worse than the Mega cd version lol.
I also came across a Dos version of Night Trap.OH MY GOD my eyes hurt so bad trying to focus on the screen worst FMV i have ever seen.

I would love to find and play the Blu-Ray version of this’ i love the old FMV games.

  7. LarryBundyJr says:

@DAZZYVANDAM What’s the PC version’s quality like? I used the CD-i version in this video as it was the best quality version for years until the DVD and Wii versions came out.

I think there’s a Bluray version out too now.

  8. DAZZYVANDAM says:

Played Mad Dog on the Mega CD….coulden’t see jack shit with the grainy FMV i’m just glad i never bought the game i just kind of found it oneday on my pc hard-drive in ISO format what luck.

  9. TAGMOMG says:

Did you know that they releaced all the Mad Dog games on a comperlation disk about a year ago on Wii?

  10. illustriouschin says:

You are much better at remastering your old movies than George Lucas is and HE’S a transcendental warrior poet extraordinaire!

  11. LarryBundyJr says:

@BillyCauseyjr Ah, thanks for the info!!!

  12. LarryBundyJr says:

@MP1983 I bought it on 3DO many moons ago, but never actually played it.

  13. MP1983 says:

Larry, you ever played Crime Patrol 2: Drug Wars lightgun game by American Laser Games? The live-action videos in that one are hilarious. :) It’s probably the best game by them. I think you will like it.

  14. BillyCauseyjr says:

@LarryBundyJr they are on HDD…. Maddog 1 and 2 are also on wii in the US.

  15. PressStartComic says:

@LarryBundyJr One of the only times I’ve ever heard Gary (The Manager) from Funspot ever curse was when he was mentioning just how bad the laserdisc games worked, even when they were brand new. He said if you looked at it wrong it’d lock up and fail.

So having it run on an emulator is a godsend. It still takes credits like normal and it still plays very much the same as it did way back when. Plus when you’re dealing with really rare games like Us Vs. Them it’s the only way to play them now.

  16. LarryBundyJr says:

@PressStartComic Interesting, I always thought that FunSpot were opposed to MAME Etc. but a lot of machines with temperamental hardware could benefit from emulation. Hell, as long as it’s 100% accurate, then noone would ever tell the difference.

I’ve heard Virtua Racing owners doing the same as VR machines tend to cook themselves after a while.

  17. PressStartComic says:

@LarryBundyJr The new ones are all on hard drives now, so they actually work. At FunSpot in Weirs Beach they took all of the laserdiscs out and replaced them with Daphne Emulators. So they don’t fail to run as often.

  18. LarryBundyJr says:

@PressStartComic Are they still using laserdiscs though? They’re not on a hard drive or solid state now?

  19. PressStartComic says:

I tried the upside down gun trick when I played Crime Patrol a few years ago. Sad to say, it didn’t work. So I wonder if it only worked on the older Mad Dog games and not the newer ones.

They also have brought the game back to the arcade and it has all four of the laserdisc games in the unit to enjoy all the 90′s cheasy FMV shootin’ fun!

  20. DemonicBliss says:

Have you ever owned any copies of this game?

  21. VengaboysRbackINtown says:

I remember this new in the arcades. It seemed so high tech back then. I was probably wearing ‘hi tec trainers too.

  22. ProtoSnake says:

Ebolaworld or Taco-Man did a review on Mad Dog McCree and I think its easy to play it on the Wii.

  23. TriggerheartExcelica says:

But did you have to cut the intro animation?

  24. SirRosser says:

Spotty light gun hit detection, choppy FMV load times AND half-assed acting? Sign me up! Seriously, though, looks more fun than half the over-serious junk they come out with these days…

  25. cozziemusic says:

Something’s just popped into my head. The opening notes in this video sound like the CBS News theme. Y’know the one Bill Bailey said it sounded like “…and now some puppies will lick your face”.
