the fact is that after a 13 hour day of school and football, i want to come home and play video games. and without home consoles, i couldnt do that. so most people can live with not having live or psn but just the console itself, means that home systems were a bigger jump

@FraggedMind Also, platforms other then computers still are vulnerable to cheaters, but they need more technical skills to do so, whereas computers are easy to exploit.
@FraggedMind I agree with you all the way, although a computer is a console but nevermind that. It is true that non-computer platforms tend to be a hell of a lot more enjoyable, but computers tend to allow more features and such for the games available on it which can be convenient, yet still prove to not be very important.
