i happen to play Atlantica online and it’s one of grindest games i’ve ever played but compared to FF14 it’s much more accessible.
I can spend time ingame but to make me spending it on useless things like trying to find a sward in the market or browsing thorough my inventory…not cool at all.
@PrkchpsNaplsaws Uhh, the review listed about 50 other reasons besides having to click twice to open your inv, most of which are pretty significant and add up to a really frustrating and dull game experience.
And since you mention it I’ve been playing games since about 12 years before WoW came out, I’ve had max level characters in 8 MMOs including WoW and I have some idea what I’m talking about when I say that having to click twice to open your inv is a majorly awful piece of game design.

@PrkchpsNaplsaws Yeah making a game ridiculous complex isn’t rewarding or satisfying. I would rather have clarity over confusement anyday, thats the problem with Square Enix, they think they can have pretty graphics and that will sell the game, they are wrong. Plus they need to stop blaming “Western gamers” because they were liked before they tried to Westernise their games, its ridiculous. Westernise has no meaning, except for covering up development mistakes.
Guys, this game is originally created for Ps3. Now stop complaining about all the shit that you don’t like.
@PrkchpsNaplsaws or maybe people prefer the smarter and easy menu control in wow rather than a complicated and unnecessary menu system because of lazy/stupid game design.
all the hate for FF14 is a direct result of new “gamers” who have only ever played WoW. WoW is a horrible MMORPG. If you hatred of a game stems from “uhh, why do i have to click twice to get to my inventory?” Then you are a spoiled WoW brat who has never scoured the dungeons of Hythloth or Destard, and you really have no idea what you’re talking about.
Square-enix sucks shit. Bring back squaresoft.

His point is propably that after 2003 they just started to make crap games. X and X-2 were the last two good games they made in my opinion. X-2 was not really the greatest either.. But since X was insanely good i enjoyed X-2 aswell

The games pretty much got shit after X-2. (X-2 wasnt the best but it wasnt bad either. But X was amazing)
And all the games before X are great but to old for me to enjoy now.. I grew up with FFX and FFX will always be the greatest one in my opinion
This game is a online game tho, so i dont think its supposed to have story and emotions.
I will forever love you Final Fantasy, but this one actually seems…Final.

They had to pay me to play this game, I havent even played it yet and im already bored.
There were only 2 Action RPG I never got bored , SACRED 1 and SACRED 2.
The only problem they had were the servers. Still hope tht some company buy its rights and create Sacred MMO.
And I cant wait for DIABLO 3
with a game this bad made by a high- level company like square enix it makes you think if this were unpurpose or if the were stoned. this game does’nt deserve to have final fantasy in the title.

Lol i love it when people rag on something new, tell me, was Ragnarok any good when it stared, NO, it was boring EVERYTHING starts somewhere, they need input from players and other people in order to grow the game, i am currently building a new computer for the exact purpose of playing this game AND look forward to it IMMENSELY!!
Everything starts out slowly, its a huge game with HUGE potential and will in time grow into something im sure this “reviewer” will FAWN over

Where on Earth is the story? The emotions of the characters? The amazing classical scores? The “personalized” feeling you get when playing a Final Fantasy game?
SquareSoft has gone down hill at such a rapid rate and its a real darn shame
The really need to go back to the basics and the classic ideas that made the games so amazing in the first 9-10 games.
