Guild Wars 2 will run on consoles the same way THE WITCHER 2 is gonna run on consoles:

You should keep in mind that Guild Wars 2 is also DX9 & is going to run on lower end PC’s…devs make their games like that on purpose.
Lastly, there is already a consoles dev team 4 GW2.

I’m saying that because of pirate thieves and PC cheaters, developers have to resort to DIABLO 3-esque drm.
I’m saying that apparently because of these thieves, developers don’t make enough money and don’t really want to make PC exclusive games anymore.
The only AAA BLOCKBUSTER developer left is Blizzard and even they want to bring Diablo 3 to consoles.
I’m saying that you should stop blaming consoles for your troubles, and you SHOULD be blaming your own community.
@Persistantthug Pirates have been on consoles for a long loooooong time. I think everyone had a chipped PS1. I could get any game on PS3 or Xbox for free. Don’t even think pirates are only on PC, they’re everywhere.

@Persistantthug What about Counter Strike? I know Valve is developing a new CS for consoles, but considering it is a similar action-packed, small-scale shooter, it’s probably going to be fine.
@Persistantthug Oh, did you forget what happened Sony PS3 network earlier? Had something to do with a hacker group breaching the Sony network? Are you trying to tell me that PC games suck because of pirates? Illogical, much? If you honestly consider Portal 2 or L4D2 games worth purchasing for the full price, I recommend you take a look at some pure-PC titles. You might be impressed. Consoles are great for quick, action-packed games…. not GW2.
