@hailey9091 Money. They couldn’t afford Riverrun or the Tullys or Whispering Wood, so they used a muddy field in Ulster. As of now, all scenes in Riverrun will take place in camp.

@PugusGrapes What about the Stormcloak rebellion (racist nationalist), the Imperial Legion and the Aldmeri Dominion (Nazi allegories). Funny you mention Oblivions characters since the Emperor dies within the first 5 minutes, Jauffre just gives you back story and Baurus is just armored furniture. The only good main-quest character was Martin (Sean Bean). Your right, Skyrim doesnt have particularly memorable characters either, but saying Oblivions are better is nonsensical.
@LaurXL Not really, Skyrim isn”t about politics, and all the characters in skyrim are forgettable at best. Oblivion at least had the Emperor, Jauffre, Baurus and Martin. But this time Bethesda really made a game in which it leans toward GTA npc’s which many have no qualm in killing.
Skyrim seems very similar…

what i don’t understand is why they haven’t shown riverrun yet, in the book when catelyn and jamie speak its in riverrun, and the blackfish and catelyn’s brother edmure has been introduced.
