The Marker does exist. The UFO that crashed at roswell was carrying the Marker. The ship picked it up and was taking it away from us humans; but the Marker didnt want to leave the planet, so it shorted out the ship and it crashed. The Goverment transported it to an unknown location and have been studying it for half a century. As long as they have the Marker it cannot fulfill its purpose and we can not attain Convergence. Altman be praised!

@THEUNFORG1V1N The first one was only scary in the beginning. Halfway through the game it already becomes to predictable to be scary, for me anyways.
ive played 2 a couple of times and love the game , people are right to think 1 is more scary but having said that it would be because it was a fresh concept with 1 as players we knew it would be survival horror but we didn’t know what we were walking into which is why 2 seems less scary , the fact is that it’s not, is amped up 10 fold it’s because we had seen most of it before , anyway im playing again 4 a 3rd time and gotta say for some reason this round is scaring the shit outta me lol

I think the reason why people don’t think dead space 2 is scary, like me, is because we got used to the fear factor from the first one. I just find this game more revolting and gruesome, which I enjoyed.
@PsychoSeal1 I actually didn’t find Dead Space 2 so scary. I mean sometimes I shocked a bit, but I don’t get nightmares from. And I’m a person who’s really bad at thrillers and horror movies.

yeah i played amnesia and gotta say this was scarier yeah you have a gun but so what? in amnesia all i had to do was run and hide. not that it wasnt scary but the you have a gun so it isnt scary thing is gettin old.

@PsychoSeal1 they turned down the scaryness of the game for that reason, dead space 1 is way scarier than the 2nd, but im not sayin the 2nd aint scary, just the 1st is terrifying
You guys may find this funny, I never played Dead Space 2. I did play Dead Space 1 and it scared the fucking SHIT out of me, this is why I never played Dead Space 2, I dont care whether I did miss out on an epic campaign or not, its just too damn scary, I still have nightmares from the first one.
