I bought the game recently, (I had some spare money to waste so thought what the hell) and I checked – It took up EXACTLY 17GB. It took me 4 hours to download, but that varies. And so far I have had about 4-5 problems with it. So far its okay, but after my 30 free is up and it goes into the Free mode thingys after Oct 8th, im going to lose all those characters ive played as!

Pay to play is why I decided against dcuo after I’d originally heard it was free and being a huge batman fan that was a tough choice to make but you know how it is dick rider free. I can’t understand people not playing dcuo when it will go free after all the bullshit with freezing, servers, crappy dlc etc… Why the F wouldn’t you want that shit to come free? I don’t understand some gamers.

AHHH!!! Finally! I wasn’t going to play it b/c with the bugs and the glitches and freezes that were happening along with some of the lack of content…. 15 bucks was a RIPOFF. your telling me dc universe online is gonna be free to download at the end of october and giving us free online play? lol i know you said it like 2 or 3 times already but i’m very curious. i’ve been wanting to get this game for such a long time. i never mind paying monthly cause i use to do that with Phantasy Star Universe on xbox but i don’t have as much money as i use to so its been hard for me so making the game free to play is fantastic news!! btw i subscribed
well i saw this a mile away as a hard core gamer the 60 day free trial i got with the game was plenty of time for me to play it and beat most of the missions and have my fill of it. It was no where near a hard core mmorpg so no one paid for it this is just a plan to save there own ass, and i am calling it right now final fantasy 14 going to be free to play down the road to just you wait got to love video game corporations and how they try to fined new ways to save there ass.
