I actually got to the final boss before i died in this game.

  3. cfonsi says:

the game isn,t so bad, but they could have added some features into the game. Its good for a rent or to buy for a really low price

  5. BestPersonOnTheWeb says:

You have a wife? wrong move.

  6. DDRUTOU says:

@kNIGHTWING01 I gotta tell ya, too. The reason your shields die so fast, well, I found it out today when I played it. The shields go dead from a magnetic pulse. Most enemies use it and it’s unavoidable. I know, big flaw. But the magnetic pulse doesn’t drain you’re life energy. So replenishing your shields is pointless as it is too easy to deplete. And 5 lives? ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!! In the arcades you get 1!!!!!!! ONE!!! UNO!!!!!! And I beat it. So be happy you get 5 lives on the console version

  7. DDRUTOU says:

DUDE!! You have to play this is the arcades, man. I just got finished playing it at Dave and Busters and the graphics on the Arcade is better and it’s LOTS more fun to play it there. Reason? You sit inside this round thing and you use the sorta like Mecha Controls. It moves too. Makes you feel like you’re really driving this thing. The game only lasts for half a hour, IF YOU’RE GOOD, but it is a public arcade. So that’s good. Play it in the arcades, man. YOU’LL LOVE IT!!!

To be honest, I found Gradius and R-Type harder than this. But then again, I came into it from the iPhone port, which has most of the game’s flaws fixed, and the graphics updated to look like a PSP game with 60 fps and no jaggies. I basically knew the stages and maneuvers, after making #16 on the online global high scores (iPhone version), which are a nice addition for the iPhone as well.

I’d honestly have to give this a higher score, but I’m not quite sure as to exactly what I’d give it.

why did i feel i was about to be rick rolled in the intro?

  12. Metalsonic777 says:

wait, are those apocalyptic scenes from Macross/Robotech?????

I really like your style of reviewing games. This game looks pretty good. I don’t care about graphics. I play games for gameplay and this game looks like a throwback to retro games (games that were actually fun).

  14. TheR9RO says:

Danm the controls sound BAD! Not to mention the other bad stuff you talked about. I don’t think the good stuff will prevent me from passing this one.
I loved your review, i’m going to watch more of your videos! Very funny and informative hehe.

  15. BigBossMan538 says:

Man. Your wife cried about Ninjabread Man? I heard that game is awful! I’ll stay clear of it and check out your review of it for the full story.

  16. FreQuenczy says:

I agree with everything, except the controls. I hated them so much! I can’t get past level 2 if I use the motion controls, so I just use the analog stick. But then while I’m playing, the motion controls will fight with the analog stick because I’m moving too much and then I’ll die from the conflict. It’s very aggravating…Other than that, I’m in total agreement. :)

  17. aetheora says:

alright review, but i have a few things to say. as far as the item upgrading system, they are expecting you to be smart with your power-ups, and to save a little bit of cash for later in the game. Your not meant to spend 100% of it instantly. As far as the difficulty, it’s like that for a reason. as you said, old school style, but they did not make the game to be as easy as taking a shit, its MEANT to be difficult. And yes he soundtrack is awesome, the visuals are weak, but OH WELL. thanks.

  18. mrdflea says:

Ive gotten extra lives before! I start out with 5 I die 2 times I look again on the next level i have 4 not 3!

  19. Purianite says:

@22Videogameaddict The iPhone version is better.

  20. USAJAP1 says:

No, AdpBella is wrong. The game is developed by HyperDevbox.

Data Design is an infamous video game company that develops bad games.
