A few questions for people who play. Do you need the figure to play as that specific character? Do you need the pirate ship or whatever to get to that area? And if yes man what a scam paying twice for something that is already on the game disc but you cant get there or do that without having to shell out more money. Don’t get me wrong tho they are damn cool figures to collect tho.
da faq if this is wats gonna happy to all the childhood faves the gameing future for new gens doesnt look too promising i mean honestly wats up with all this lvl-ing up thing sure it good for making a game linger but damn threres just some games that just dont need it sereiuosly when has spyro ever really needed you to waste an extra five hours to get stronger Evah heard of trial and error lol

Couldn’t you theoretically just mimic whatever footprint the character shows the “portal of power” with a piece of cardboard or something? I wonder how it works. I bet a market will arise for knock-off skylander figures that are just flat magnets or something.
Don’t hate on this game, it’s a very cool game for kids.
And whoever came up with the idea of monetizing additional characters as action figures was a fucking genius, cause clearly it’s working.
