@TheBigHase P.S.: Thy game is over! (and so is mine soon as it seems…)
Those were the good old days of my youth! We went to the Arcade-Hall almost every day and were delighted and addicted to and by the games back then ! OMG if I had known what the future brings I wouldn’t have spent that much – but on the other hand maybe it helped to develope the future hard- and software – but really it was such a wonderful time back then…
I used to play this game alot on my game com in which I had the Willam’s Arcade Collection that included this one, Defender 1&2, Robotron and Sinistar. Pretty damn cool to own the best games of the 80′s all on one game cartridge. Game Com rules for that.
Thumbs up if you came here while reading Ready Player one
bird ass.
@ohnoesmaybe Ever since Ren And Stimpy, I’ve been a sucker for childrens cartoons with that creepy almost adult sense of humor behind it. Like Spongebob. Another one I found recently is this Marvellous Misadventures Of Flapjack. Those disgusting, overly detailed disturbing images that just pop up randomly during episodes (like in Spongebob) just kills me everytime
@ohnoesmaybe I know! I’m a fucking fully grown man and I laugh at Spongebob Squarepants. That idiot didn’t know what he was blabbering about.
I’ve been playing this game a lot lately and it’s super fun, I could never get past the 6th level!
iv never survived against a the red enemies long enough for 2 of them to appear, and i never could have imagined that it was possible to kill them…. CGR just blew my mind.
PREPARE TO BIRD ASS!!!
the pterodactyl will come out and kick your ass lol
thumbs up if you scroll down while waiting for the stupid ad to finish
10 people got ass-assinated
LOL “the bird ass bounce” is that like line dancing? After watching this I had to break out my PS1 version of Williams arcade’s greatest hits and do the bird ass on the big screen. Thanks Mark and Classic Game Room for years worth of great reviews and keeping old school gaming alive for the next generation.
Haha! Awesome game and awesome review.
I love Joust, I want to have mutant babies with a Joust arcade cabinet.
@Partietime I got the gold mini jouster on my DK and the blue one on my hunter. <3 Joust
the guys over at blizzard made a tribute to this game in the new world of warcraft expansion cataclysm… you even get a little jousting pet when your done… they also showed some love for the game plants vs zombies…
John Newcomer is the genius you can thank for this amazing game.
Wasn’t Atari planning to release a 3D Joust for the Jaguar?
@Chatpage Metal Gear Solid 3/4.
That is all.
@Dukefazon Choboco… I knew that bird seemed endearing, I can’t believe I never realised why.
Ah… that brings back the Chobobo theme. *stares off into space*
Chocobo!
@Chatpage
The very first video game came out in 1947. It was an oscilloscope tennis game called Tennis for Two. There where numerous other video games since that time but not on a home TV (television) set. It wasn’t until 1972 that a home video game consoles came out which worked on a TV set, the first being the Magnavox Odyssey. PONG came out in 1972 but it wasn’t until 1975 that it was released as a home video game console.
My favorite game EVAAAAR
