@garu629 I would totally buy one of these if it had a spinner knob or two. But the unit already costs $200, then you have to buy a spinner or spinners and install them yourself, by that time you could have just bought a custom panel configured exactly the way you want it for just a bit more…

i have the duel without the track ball but i wish i could of got this one , not cuz it has a track ball but just cuz it has more room anyway my name is cory cacioppo i actually found out a way to bring up the xbox 360 guide on this even though it dosnt have the button 4 it so i called the company and let them know then they put it on the site and mentioned my name you bring the guide up by holding the pinball button then pressing button 1 and start at the same time

@MarcusAubrey1 No it’s good to go out the box for PC’s. It just shows up as another keyboard. All ready for Mame32/Mameplus etc. too. Just select X-Arcade in the controllers field of mame settings.
@nebby6 YES, Programming is super easy, just plug a keyboard in and hit the load button on the back and press on the stick and then on the keyboard….light blinks and you’re done…how hard is that? LOL
@medicwheat69 Yes, you just need the 2-1 adapter for XBOX/PS3 works flawlessly and you can even access the menue simulating the “Home” Button by pressing the side button and p1 start at the same time.
@medicwheat69 I totally modded both my X-Arcade solo’s. And I Highly reccomend it! The best part about the X-Arcade controllers are the layout and the heft. The electronics inside them (The PCB) Is now updated and lag free. So are all the new adapters.What you want to buy to replace the Stick is the IL Eurostick they are about $10-12 each. I’d also replace microswitches on the buttons with Cherry Brand micro’s. you can also get Either Happ or IL Buttons and they usually come with the switches.
how heavily can you mod the x-arcade? can you do a complete button and stick swap out ? and if so what are the best options?
I’m thinking of picking it up but does it work for PS3 as well?

Never had those problems man, had this thing for 3 years! Never had a problem and i play every day!!
I’ve got the trackball unit and the dual stick from X-Arcade. Both are awesome.
And, contrary to what the review says, programming is super easy.
As for price, I can’t believe anyone would complain. It’s well worth it and not that expensive — especially considering the wicked hardware that you’re getting.
Does anybody know if I have to program this joystick on a PC before using it on any games consoles? Thanks.

I had no problems with the stick at all. It worked on my first try on a 2004 model dell PC. It was easy to program and the joystick and trackball worked flawlessly. I think something went wrong with the shipping as you mentioned. I highly recommend it and no I am not their spokesman lol.
