Not ALL the people complained about it, that was half or some of the people you’re talking about.
When I looked at Resident Evil 4 from the trailers I started not to like Resident Evil again. I’ve always like it to be original and for Capcom to make RE2 as they did RE1 and RE0 from a “remake” way.
But instead, the came out with RE2 on Gamecube as it was the same as it was on PS1 so they can have time to make RE4.
@blackandgold51 nahhh not true, lots of people bitch about how the series changes but still end up buying them just to support xD or see what has happened with all the characters, i’m a fan and while i dont necessarily dig what has happened to the horror aspect, i do like the new ones as action games, just got to like it for what it is i rate :/ btw i’m 16 and i’ve played all of the resident evils, haven’t beat em all tho xD

Ummmm…you could save more than once in Dead Rising. If you died you could choose to restart with your current level or reset to last save. Herpaderp!
Out of those 5.4 Million people how bought RE 5 most of them were probably young kids who don’t know anything about the original Resident Evil, especially the very first one.
Dead Rising was the first game I got on 360, and now it and DR2 are two of my favourite games of all time. I just enjoyed them more then RE.
